In the year 2000, as the same day of birth for Madame Curie 7th of Nov.
We have commemorated as foundation day of korean women nuclear energy professional association, and it has already been 9 years. Meanwhile, Our association have shown remarkable development by active participation and support from members and also excellent leadership from our first president Dr. Sung Woon Hong.
As landscape would change in decade, our association have had lots of changes and enlarged range of activity field. Also we are expecting 18th annual WiN-Global competition to be open in Korea, and it is a time for Association need to concentrate than any other time. To live up this internal and external changes, 2nd delegation have decided for strong debut.
Our association have provided the site of exchanging informations with nuclear energy professionals and civilians by annual nuclear energy symposium with women internally for while. And we sincerely focused on nuclear energy education for women and for next generation which is the main object of our association. Also contributed for nuclear energy development by positive networking with the other associations including female science professionals.
Externally we have prosecuted not only exchanging international informations with WiN-Global but also positive cooperation activity between member nations of Win including USA, Japan, France, Taiwan, Swiss, Sweden and Germany.
By these such activities, our association has been contributing civilians to understand nuclear energy. In addition, as women nuclear energy professional association, we have tried exalting status be up to its reputation. Also to train leadership ability of assigned members, we are upbring female nuclear energy leaders through numerous kinds of activity.
To execute nuclear energy to play a role as green nuclear, adding on past result, and for Korean nuclear industry to fairy play a role in world market, we promise you we will put all our efforts to accomplish what our members wish for.
